Washington, DC: A Planned and Well Developed Modern City
The Damage and the Reformation: Washington D.C. is a federal district that has been made the capital of the United States on July 16, 1790. Lying along the Potomac River, this district was formed from the land donated by the states Virginia and Maryland.
